Stephane Kaas (Amsterdam, 1984) studied at the art Academy (Rietveld Academie) and the Film- and Television Academy (NFTA) in Amsterdam. His graduation film was a documentary about a boy with no short time memory. After that graduation he directed 'Sisters', a short documentary which was shown at several festivals around the world, including IDFA and Sprockets Toronto and broadcasted on Dutch and Swedish television.
Furthermore he made some music videos and online videos for Dutch blogs, like hard//hoofd and De Speld.
His first fiction film is ‘Audiotour’ which received a special mention at the Very Short Film Festival and is nominated for the Audience Award in Emden.
Also he plays in a band.
